Outdoor Production

 

We currently have 2/3rds of an acre in low-till outdoor production. With this small footprint, we are trying to maximize production using strategies including intensive spacing, intercropping, and intensive trellising. Our vegetable production is reliant on hand tools and manual labor. Diversity, rotation and rest guide our yearly vegetable planning. To maximize growing space, we have 15 inch aisles. This also limits the amount of space we need to cultivate.
